I’ve been writing crossword puzzles since my freshman year of college. When I should have been studying for my philosophy final, I decided it would be more fun to learn to make crosswords. This turned out to be a good life choice, because I’ve never needed to quote Descartes from memory, but I’m still constructing crossword puzzles. You can find my work in The New York Times,The New Yorker, as well as the AVCX, where I’m also the editor of a weekly trivia feature.

You can find a pretty detailed summary of my published crosswords here, but if you’re hungry for more, please reach out! I can guide you to more sources, or even make a custom puzzle.

“I finally proposed to [my girlfriend] with your crossword and it was a hit! I feel like the luckiest man in the world. Thanks for all your help with this, she absolutely loved the puzzle!”
